Description
Days on the North Island can be grey and soft, with the mist sitting low over the rocks and the waves breaking white in the distance. This card holds one of those mornings. In the foreground, a small gathering of seaglass catches what light there is: deep cobalt, pale aqua, frosted white and every shade of green in between, each piece smoothed by years of tide and sand.
Every photograph from Pebble and Pask is real seaglass, taken on the beach where it was found, on the day it was found, in natural light. There’s no studio and no collection jar, just what the tide brought in.
Why matte
This card is printed on matte cardstock, which gives it a softer, quieter feel than our glossy cards. The finish suits the misty light in the photograph and is lovely to hold and to write on.
