A monthly calendar picture lasts too long and gets stuck on the wall, and daily calendars are too much to keep up with. This desktop weekly calendar is just right. Each Sunday you tear off last week’s page and a new photograph and calendar is waiting, and the back of the torn-off page is ready for notes.

A year of sea glass, one week at a time

Each week features original photography of genuine ocean-tumbled sea glass, its shape and colour softened by years in the waves. The photographs are curated from fifteen years of beachcombing photography on northern Vancouver Island. Every piece was photographed on its beach of origin on the day it was found, arranged in the tidal zone and lit only by the natural light of that day.

A quote for every week

Each photograph sits above a quote about the sea, the tide or the small joys of noticing. Some are my own lines and the rest come from writers who found their way to the shore long before me. The quotes are set in Pebble2, a font I made from my own hand lettering.
